Depending on the model,
RS-422 or RS-485 serial control applications. This twisted pair cable provides the fast signal
rise times required by today's control systems, resulting in reliable communications and
executed commands, with the overall shield isolating interference and emission.
Extron Comm-Link cable is available with a plenum or non plenum-rated SuperFlex
jacket. Plenum-rated cable is for use in open air spaces without conduit, thereby reducing
installation cost, where National Electric Code CM or CMP cable must be installed.

The Extron CTL Series Comm-Link Control Systems Cable is ideal for connecting control
system components. The CTL and CTLP models are perfectly suited for carrying control
communications due to the low capacitance rating on the data pair wires, while the additional
conductors transmit power and communications. The CTL24LC-2P cable is ideal for RS-232,
